TENAX: performances and reliability
Tenax lamellar spring padding is a product specially studied by GMP for the application on small-medium sized rollers. It has been developed to increase the ironer performances and the lasting of roller padding.
A specific 100% Nomex thick molton completes the Tenax lamellar spring padding.
Compared to normal steelwool padding, Tenax permits ironing with bigger residual moisture percentages, higher temperatures and guarantees the best steam extraction.
It does not loose its shape and thanks to this characteristics, Tenax grants constant ironing quality and production, drastically reducing maintenance and working costs.
Coin meter
For the markets requiring communities appliances, GMP predisposes many of its models for coin meter application. Operating with every coin or token, through a liquid crystal display it visualises the remaining time basing on what set by the administrator. The time can be stopped if the machine is not used. The coin meter is provided with anti-breaking devices and the control panel is installed inside the machine and is accessible only by the administrator for temperature and speed regulations.
Steam suction system
Common optional on many GMP models, it allows to increase the hourly output as well as it saves roller padding from moisture excesses and hydrolysis effects.
It is serially installed on models GMP 1400ES.A, GMP 2000.A, GMP 2000 IE and on all ironers with diameter 300 mm, which are equipped with variable speed device
G-SIL Spray
For ordinary maintenance of the ironing plate chromed surface we suggest using G-SIL spray, a practical silicone-base spray to be sprinkled on the roller following the detailed instructions indicated in Use & Maintenance handbook. G-Sil leaves a very thin silicone film on the chromed surface of the chest. This reduces the calcareous deposits and the frictions, extending the life of ironing cloth. |
